(i recognize you already knew that but i just had to pretend to be an ass)- this ties into something that happened to me today at 'work' which i think i'll have to post in my journal now...
we did the same thing with a whole buncha stuff including sauerkraut during WWII. Didn't last then either, won't last now, no point in even noticing it. Besides, french fries came from Belguim in the first place.
