Lunch

Had lunch with both digitalambience and Darkside. There was much smacking each other over the head with empty plastic soda bottles, and much arm-wrestling between Darkside and me. I seem to have developed a habit of grabbing his hands whenever possible.

Much fun was had by all. Darkside mentioned that though he's told me many, many times that nerve pinches don't work on him, I never seem to grasp the concept: I still try them anyway. I whispered to Adam that what Darkside didn't realize was that I knew damn well they wouldn't work, but tried them anyway because it's so nice to touch him....

Adam got the look in his eye that means that he's noticing that the people around us are thinking, "Why don't they [Darkside and I] get a room?" He's mentioned several times that he thinks if he took up a collection, he'd get donations, even from the instructors...

"Not even from the instructors!" I told him.

Darkside, without the context, was completely lost...

Lonely Morning

Darkside was, of course, not at school, as he has no classes today. Slept in. Got to class late. Lecture for Sys Anal. We apparently will be learning the acronyms we have to bugger. Or something like that. We are free to send amusing video clips to our Java instructor; he also shared with us how to start a Java program.

Once, he had his laptop in class, one of the last days of school, and he asked for recommendations from the class for good humor sites to visit, the sort with amusing videos and animations. One of the students, a graduating senior, gave him a URL, which he typed in... only to be presented with a porn site, complete with many pop-ups... the class roared, as this was presented bigscreen from the overhead...
