Childhood phrases/insults: "For you, it's a short trip!"

The household had a somewhat-insulting, somewhat-humorous retort for any instance of something sounding like "You're driving me crazy."

Response: "For you, it's a short trip."

It was, in context, very funny.

"Cooking to Hook Up" girl-type classifier lemming

I'm cross between the Academic Girl, Girl Next Door, and Progressive Girl. )

The cleaning tips there, for making sure the place doesn't "feel" like any other girl, are interesting, and dead-on. (Though if you're a poly guy courting a poly girl, you'd probably want to do something different.) I know it would be well-nigh impossible for me to have a relationship with someone who isn't poly at this point, because in addition to the matter of being dating someone already, there are already far too many scent-marks from my bondmates all over my apartment, not to mention on my person...

Innocence, obnoxiousness...

Really, children shouldn't pester perfect strangers who are obviously busy...

I'm so very glad that the Little Fayoumis has been well-trained to not pester adults who are obviously busy. Tell his life's story to perfect strangers, on the other hand... (He insists on introducing himself to bank tellers. It could be worse...)

Thalia!

Thalia's box has arrived at [livejournal.com profile] templeravenmoon; Sis signed for her.

Hooray!!!

Now I can't wait to get home and play with her. I hope [livejournal.com profile] witchofrock shows up soon; I can't wait to share my delight and maybe get some of the nasty bugs worked out of this latest bit in The Necromancer's Prayer; I'm not sure what's going on, or should be going on, and could use some real help from someone who sees things at a different angle than I do.
