Another day off.

Another day off. Spent most of it asleep, then wound up online being philosophical. I like to think that I give good advice, but am I really? Some of it is based on life experience. Some of it I just pull out my ass. A lot of it is based on how I see that person, and may not actually be good advice to work from, but instead just points to think about. I argue Devil's Advocate a lot, because someone's got to.

Have been lighting the green tree-scented candles lately; just about an hour ago lit that big orange/black tiger-striped candle, because it was Time To. Lots of random in the air tonight. Is it a new moon?

Why, yes, it is.

OMG YES. Finally, an SUV commercial that I can agree with! (Subject to disappearing at any moment, given its location and ... the content.

I still need to do laundry and dishes this evening. I didn't get overtime at work. Maybe I'll go in tomorrow, but I'm not counting on it. I've been reading -- finishing up The Golden One (Elizabeth Peters: an Amelia Peabody adventure) and starting in on Black Butterfly, some trash serial-killer police novel that I'll return to the laundry room from whence it came once I'm done with it.

Laundry Room

I was just informed by the random dude in the wheelchair that the laundry room closes at ten, and I was going to get all my stuff locked up. I'm sure he was trying to be helpful. I took it as a personal affront, however.

I am certain that there are plenty of other times that I could be doing my laundry. Like, I could do it any time on Monday or Tuesday, or on Saturday or Sunday afternoons, or I could get up before work and do it then. I am not pleased with the laundry room hours, though. Why do they have to do that? More to the point, how do I complain about it without sounding like a whiny teenager with an entitlement problem?

Dude, I hope your cough is both curable & due to circumstances beyond your control. For it is both bad and nasty.

Testing; let's see how this one works!

In theory, this will post the picture to ScrapBook. If it doesn't work, I fix. The image is me with ONE GROSS of Support points, a point that I passed as of a couple hours after I took the screenshot.
