Whee, work.
Bit of radio silence at work today. I'm at the point of getting the 2nd tier of report tables filled, and doing it right & proper, without having to resort to a kludge to do it. It's taking umpteen-billionty queries, but they all serve a purpose. Next on my list to do: study joins and study them in-depth without doing it the cheating way by having the Access UI do it.
Recommendations from lazyweb for Access books? Management is thinking one beginner-level book for the majority of the office, and one advanced book for me, to be shared with the rest of the office as I train them up in playing with Access. (She has a high opinion of my geek abilities.)
Tomorrow I will finish the second tier, and hopefully finish the 3rd as well. Then I can distribute new stats.
Anime night was fun, and had Prince of Tennis and something about turning a complete misfit into a lady, something evolution.
My position on fanfic/canon: all fanfic is AU by virtue of not being in the author's head, so sell your AU well, so I'll buy it.
