Moments with Stage Manager
Stage Manager -- one of my uncle-managers, the incredibly tall skinny one with the white ponytail who always wears all black -- likes milk chocolate. I like knowing that there is enough chocolate around for everyone. I (try to) maintain a candy dish. This includes bringing in seasonal offerings.
Stage Manager likes to drop by my candy dish. I like to make sure that there's something for him there. He cruised by while I was getting ready for my workday, and snagged the last few kisses from the public dish.
Azz: Oh, hold on... *dives for bag of supplies*
Stage Manager: What's that? *dubiously eyes foil-wrapped egg the size of an actual egg*
Azz: Hollow.
Stage Manager: Oh, that's all right then. Thank you! *retreats with egg*
Later...
Azz: *conferring with Overlady in office*
Stage Manager: *approaches*
Azz: *withdraws* Did you need to talk to [Overlady]?
Stage Manager: No, I was in search of a chocolate-based life-form. *retreats*
Overlady: ...I've been meaning to refill my candy bowl.
Azz: So have I -- he got the last of the kisses earlier.
Overlady & Azz: *proceed giggling to next meeting*
