Largely uneventful

Yesterday at work was essentially an extended fire drill of the sort that happens when a few overlapping technological and social things go very badly internally wrong at just the crucial time.

Today was mopping up, continuing with the stuff interrupted by fire drills, and all of the random little things. Projectors are tied down and propped up! Printer is plugged in, turned on, printing, and perhaps even shared.

Yesterday I voiced my misgivings about the printer situation with my manager, who had the additional information about the troubleshooting process that the original story was missing: there was a lot of it, she did most of it, and the motherfucker had been printing pink. It didn't print pink for me, but it was printing insufficiently yellow. Alas.

I eventually went home earlier than I'd planned on, because I hadn't eaten enough and I had a headache.

I've been getting close to enough sleep again regularly, which is amazing. I have brains again.


Tomorrow there's a non-work professional shindig for A-Team types, out in SJ. I may go.
