I told FatherSir the story about my Analysis & Design class, with the final exam being the role-playing game where we pretended to be designers and clients. In that, my chief accomplishment was to dissuade the clients from having the basketball-holding device tethered to the user by means of a 36" strap (John: slightly less than a meter) by invariably referring to it as a "thirty-six inch strap-on" when discussing it.

My father has been making references to that ever since, and driving Mama nuts.
