Tasks of the Day for Friday
Checked account. Checked recipe. Elderflower. Forgot to write it down, though.
The store that was closing today already had closed when I got there. Disappointing.
Went to the Herb Stop after a lot of wandering around (I had gotten on the wrong bus; I wound up at Missouri & 16th st when I needed to be at Camelback and 20th st.... so I walked) and spent perhaps too much money. Remembered that it was elder flower.
Came home. Chatted with Shawn for far too long about the movie he's making. He's gotten permission to film in the UAF tunnels, which is way cool. It's got a nicely unhappy ending. I like it.
Spilled water on laptop. Called Darkside in distress.
Saw the Star Wars with Marx; it was too late and dangerous for Nephew to be out.
Went to Denny's afterwards.
Am planning a full length duster style jacket thing out of very light white fabric. This, for shielding from the sun. Way too bright here. Must get my face back to Alaskan pale.
