The little things matter... (generated by [profile] iroshi)

1. What's your favourite colour?
a. Answer for different categories: your clothes, what colour your bedroom is, what colour your living room is, what colour stuffed animals you like, anything that comes to mind.
Well... it's always been a top favorites list. Black for most things and especially clothing. Silver. Deep rich jewel-tones. Deep blue. Deep purple. Not so much deep green, but that's good too. Definitely the deep pinks, and some of the lighter ones too. Sky-blue. Lavender. Ice-yellow, for accents, but not too much. Bedroom is no set color scheme, but a lot of black and white and deep blue. I like black better than white. White gets dirty. Living room is College Recycle Bland at the moment, but my ideal living room is deep blue, deep green, and black: very deep-water sorts of colors, even though I'd probably decorate my bedroom in the black, blue, purple, lavender, light blue, yellow, white sort of way: sky, by night and day.

2. What kind of candy do you like? Chocolate. Caramel. No walnuts, ever: they peel my mouth. Almonds. Pecans. Macadamia nuts *melt*... cashews. Peppermint. I don't like spearmint so much, and wintergreen repulses me. Orange. Lemon. Strawberry. Skittles, but not the kind in the light blue bags. M&M's. Chocolate that's too oily repulses me; there was a particular kind of seashell chocolates that are disgusting. I loooove chocolate covered cherries. Oh, and chocolate covered espresso beans! I used to hate white chocolate, but I don't any more; it should be combined in the near neighborhood of real chocolate, though.

3. What are your favourite comfort foods? Beef stew: beef, potatoes, onion, not much garlic, Italian seasoning, bay leaves: mm. BLT. Mashed potatoes. Chicken stew: chicken, carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic. Onion-dill bread with butter. Pizza. Occasionally fast food.

a. Which fast food joints do you like/hate? Like: Burger King, Jack-in-the-Crack, Carl's Jr. McD's is OK for certain values of "food". Taco Bell's good. Wendy's is good. If I think fast food, I think burger. I like curly fries if they've got them. Love dipping fries in the Wendy's ice cream thing. Must be in a specific mood to want chickenburger; if I get confronted with chicken without wanting it, I tend to not eat it.
b. When you're heading for a restaurant, what types (Mexican, Italian, seafood) do you put on the list to decide between? My absolute favorite type is Chinese: home cooking! I tend to avoid seafood some.

4. Do you like ice cream, and if so, what flavours? I love ice cream, but I can eat less of it than I used to be able to, and if I eat it without consulting my friends the lactose-help tablets, too much of it will make me need to be near a restroom for the remainder of the day. Favorite: Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk. No walnut, no banana. No no no. Walnut and banana (real banana; fake is OK but I don't like it but for Laffy Taffy) peel the inside of my mouth. Like chocolate. Like nuts, but not walnut.

5. Do you have toys (you, not any kids you might have), and if so, what kinds? Lightsabers. The one Darkside gave me, and a few more besides. Techie-toys are fun. I have a few Barbie dolls, mostly for modeling for crocheted dresses, and then Suicide Barbie from last year's birthday cake for Votania. I love marbles and those marble-dropping happy toys where you can configure where the marbles flow. I don't tend to play much, though. I like kites. I like bubble-makers, the giant ones. I like swimming with foam sticks and bopping.

6. What are your hobbies? Crocheting, writing, jewelry making, computers, reading, magic (heh, "hobby", right... ditto on the writing...)

7. What is your costume going to be for this Samhain? Skyclad. No, seriously. Pale blue with clouds and the sun... Votania's skyclad, but night: black with stars.

8. What other things did you consider in the process of deciding? Rita Skeeter from the Harry Potter books, with Nephew as Harry. Or some form of partner-costume with Darkside.

9. What have you dressed up as in the past? Which ones did you have the most fun as? Let's see... fairy, witch, gypsy, Vulcan, Deanna Troi, Jedi, IRS agent, myself, gothic/ren vampire. I think the Jedi was lots of fun, but so was vampire, and fairy, and Vulcan... the IRS costume was because I couldn't wear anything else at work, and I was already in a white shirt, so I decided to add a tie, a name badge, a more careful hairdo, and lipstick.

10. What different ways do you wear your hair (if you *have* hair! :) and what kind of hair domajigs do you have/like? I often wear mine down; it looks very good held back with a headband, but I have very few headbands that work. I want to get some pale lavender satin scarf-things to tie in headband-fashion. I also use scrunchies and claw-clips. I'd like to wear it up more often, or with sparkly barrettes... I have some adorable dragonflies. The little combs to hold it up are another ideal style for me, and they work, so I should get some more of those.

11. What kind of jewelry do you wear? What are your favourite stones? Do you consider a certain stone "your" stone? I wear necklaces, mostly stone pendants on chains or cords, bracelets, rings, earrings, occasionally an anklet, or if going formal, a brooch. My favorite stones are fluorite, amythyst, rose quartz, hematite, garnet, onyx... not necessarily in that order. I tend to rotate through top-favorite stones. Plain quartz is nice too. Rutilated quartz is beautiful. I don't wear gold, do wear silver, can wear surgical steel and up, but nothing that's not hypo-allergenic. I have bad metal allergies, and if I have the wrong earrings in for more than ten to fifteen minutes, my ears start to itch, and then swell up... same with rings, bracelets, necklaces. I get rashes, and they aren't good.

12. Any other little things you can think to add to the list? Music. I love Celtic and classical, don't like country or rap. My tastes in rock are eclectic and avoid boy-bands, but do like certain values of 80's pop.
