Altar Reality
I have my own altar now.
The things people throw away!
Well, we're broke college students, and we're not picky. It used to be a chest of drawers, I think, but the drawers are lost. But it's the right height, and shelves will be added, and it is completely awesome for the purpose I'm using it for. Furniture has been duly rearranged, and it'll be easier with the couch/computer thing.
I'm happy. I'm really happy.

Let Me Count Our Altars...
My Official Altar, my laptop computer (also used as an altar, yes), the computer table, the top of the TV in the living room, the patio, the little white shelves by the patio door, (the kitchen counters), the north-facing altar by the wall in the living room, the two West-facing altars in Sis's room, her bathroom counter, my bathroom counter, and then back to my altar again.
That's not counting the impromptu ones.

Re: Let Me Count Our Altars...
We rent a two-bedroom apartment.
We just happen to use the top of any flat surface as an altar, seeing as we've got three grown witches living in the house, one preschooler witch, and one regularly visiting full-fledged witch, one regularly visiting *very* beginning witch, and two irregularly visiting other witches...
It's a witchy household, all right.
