That's the thing, though. (Thanks for your offer, by the way; I may just take you up on it.) I have a IM friends list extensive enough to have eleven people on on a Friday morning. Somehow internet chatting isn't the same as seeing someone in the same apartment...

In order to stay away from the greater of the two evils, I'd be playing third wheel, were I there with them. Here, I'm doing exactly as I please, and I can be comfortably uncomfortable with my cold.
