I cna be rather intense as well. I'm not sure if that comes through over LJ. Fortunately, my close friends seem to understand how to handle that for the most part, and when they don't, I can usually explain it in a way they are willing and able to process.

Trouble is, when meet someone through LJ and meet in person, there is a sharp jump in the intensity...
