Yes, cat farts are indeed stinky. Our Callie (Callisto) seems to fart as a defense mechanism: if you pick her up and she doesn't want to be handled, she stink-bombs you.

Eris and I share a bathroom. This means that when she doesn't flush her litterbox, stinkiness ensues.

(She's great about shitting *in* the litterbox; she's not great about covering it with litter afterwards.)
