Read the comments on that same post. The guy was appointed in Dec 2002, and he's not chairing he's a member (the chair works with PP & NOW and is a female OBGYN).
The *one* thing that ever helped me besides ibuprofanity was actually inspired by a book on chaos theory. Poking the general area of the uterus at the right frequency disrupted the cramps, but it had to be repeated... and it had to be ever so careful.
