Hopefully, am not only person in world who finds scent of hot, slightly dryer-scorched clothing erotic. Not the anti-static clothes softener, but no-frills clean hot clothing.

I know where the scent-memory comes from. Darkside's work uniforms always smell so: hot and crisp and clean.

lunch and a movie?!

After the debacle with the to-do list on Inanna, Darkside and I walked out to his car talking. He went through a rundown of his tasks for today. "Gas for car, lunch, work to pick up paycheck, bills, bank, home. Wait--" then he said. "Gas for car, lunch, work to pick up check, bank & bills -- Queen of the Damned. ...Are you working today?"

This is the closest to "Do you want to come to the movies with me this afternoon?" that I've ever heard from him.

Nice to spend time with friend. Not-nice to have to work instead...

Darkside saw my new toy Inanna today, and immediately began playing around with her. I have a to-do list on that thing, and his name is on it, and the notes associated with it say, "I love you." Not the thing he was expecting to see on my computer, to be sure. He left a comment.

Then he got into my journal. After he'd found the to-do list item, I'd put in the entry, "[Darkside] is a butthead"; he commented on this as well.

Perhaps I should show him my livejournal?
