The rainstorm wathers are rising up...

Thunderstorm hit last night, with rain. The patio flooded. Votania was worried that it would come in under the glass doors, and after looking, I agreed: we spent a frantic half-hour or so shifting stuff. First, we got the couches and anything on the floor in that section of the room, which turned out to be not very much: my housekeeping efforts combined with hers have been paying off. Then I remembered the storage shed, out on the porch, lower than the glass doors. There was a lot of stuff in there. Now, most of it is in here.

There was a lot of stuff in there.

Grr and argh.

I had a post written up about this morning at school, but an IP address error and LochJournal conspired to eat it. Darkside is a sweetheart, DeVry's offline registration process is labrynthine and inconvenient (I was summoned to the financial aid office because my parents in Alaska hadn't renewed the student loan that they hadn't gotten in the first place because they didn't need it; and because I needed to pay, that day, in full, the sum of $0.00.), country music is funny when appearing on the radio at the correct moment, Ron is cool, and the world is beautiful after a rainstorm.

Then I went and donated plasma. When I came back, I wasn't good for much. Now I'm awake again.

Evil evil plans

Not sure if this is going to post, as there may be local problems with servers.

Enki is being a dick.

Every twelve to twenty-four hours, or sooner than that, I have to remind Enki that he is, in fact, sharing the DSL connection with everyone else on the network.

Enki is slated to get reformatted, and have 98 installed on him, as W2k is too much OS for the poor little bastard, according to everyone that the Geek of the Week ([livejournal.com profile] votania) has consulted.

Non-carbohydrate

Decided to refuel after coming home and crashing. To my surprise, I was only able to eat half the amount of leftover beef stroganoff that I thought I'd be able to. Lunch tomorrow, I guess.

I could stand to lose the weight.
