Programming space
I wrote a note to my father the other night, talking about my difficulties with being off in another world while programming.
My mother said that FatherSir had been impressed, because he'd thought that he was the only one who had that happen to him.
FatherSir's very very solitary and private. I don't think it occurred to him to ask about the phenomenon, which is very common amongst hackers.

Mmmm. heheh.

Hee, hee. HTML help for the clueless (that is, me.)

Mmmm, food.
I was cleaning out the cupboards last night, and was moved to make a pot of chili.
There were all those beans in there, see. And they never had anything done with them.
So, I tossed them in the crock pot and started them to stewing. I added garlic salt and onion powder, and, later, tomato sauce, and a little bit of brown sugar.
Chili. Yummy, not-too-spicy, vegetarian chili.
I put a sprinkling of chili powder in there, just for the flavor. Yay! Yay for flavor!
We'll all be able to add our own Tabasco. It's good. It's very good. And I made it!

Fun. Fic.

Well. Now I know.
Betrayal evidently involves feeling like a bleeding idiot.
It would be making matters worse to offer further betrayal in the form of my blood spilled out. One betrayal does not cancel another, and some are more survivable for the other party, than others.

"Please don't make me spell it out for you."
Forgiven. Or, at least, "Apology accepted." As said in a very corny Darth Vader voice.
This was the cue for the wronging party to break down in tears and declare that she did not deserve a friend that good.
"Everyone needs at least one good friend."
