When you next have the opportunity, you could bring up elevators--not specifically BART (which I find more creepy than scary--while there is maybe some concern, I know the trip *cannot last* more than a few seconds), but conventions etc., which often result in being the only not-man in a tiny room with 1+ men, with a variable amount of time.
