Well, I called in the morning while they were busy doing the job hunt thing, and you know how you can hear it in people's voices when they're happy or not? Darkside's dad sounded very cool and not warm towards me.

So I get the impression that his father is not exactly thrilled with me.

Part of it may be that I am a heathen infidel and am daring to be in love with his Godly little boy. Another bit might be the part where I'm rooting for his baby to get a Real Job that does not involve the military.
