What Father Frost could give me for Winterfair

...the ability to selectively choose to never, ever see certain userpics while I'm logged in.

You could grab the little tracking numbers, go to the "I never want to see this usericon again so long as you save my options" page, and enter it, and from then on, you will see a "Userpic blocked" small message instead of the inappropriate userpic.

I mean, I could do without "Voice of a angel" blinking at me, should that user decide to post a gabillion times in that community, and I could quite frankly do without that one Krang userpic of [livejournal.com profile] melcocha's, and there are probably people who don't need to see my late purple vibrator shaking itself, even though the hidden joke is that those batteries in there are really Pikachu batteries.

Since LJ's thing is to provide a pretty cool service for everybody, and a really spiffy service for those who pay for it, free users would maybe only get to block three pictures, and paid, early adopter, and permanent would get to block more.

But ... but Krang is so cute!

That would be cool, yup.

Perhaps you should suggest it?

When someone's icon bothers me, I just unfriend them (I am so mean bwahaha).

Although this also means I've learned to get over myself very quickly and very thoroughly. Grammatical errors are not good excuses for me. Pro-suicide icons with knives and blood, however, are good excuses. The vibrator was annoying first time I saw it, but I arranged so I was no longer annoyed. I'm actually getting rather good at willing myself to stop being annoyed. To date, I've only unfriended one person for disturbing user icons. And one for having political views I disagreed with, but that's because he was obnoxious about it and obviously didn't have a clue why anyone could possibly disagree with him unless they were Bad People.

By the way, I've done that coffee thing before. I sympathize deeply. I don't drink coffee at all anymore because of a similar experience.

Yeah, well, I always did have much less capacity for hate than most people. It's one of my endearing qualities. I think it balances out my natural abrasiveness.

Yeah, I can understand that. For me, it's just incredibly goofy. But then again, I did used to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my brother when we were kids. So I guess that helps. Shredder was hot.
