So carpet-washing day is today, right?
Turns out that my computer is on Mr. Circuitbreaker that Mr. Dinosaur (carpet steamcleaner) is plugged into.

Now that I'm rewiring the house, I'm putting any office-type sockets into different breakers from the sockets that are obviously for domestic maintenance.

My father wired our house, and other than not wiring the living room for computers, he did a very good job.
Our apartment, on the other hand... heh. Heh. Late 70's, I should say. Heh. Heh-heh.
I'll be looking up the wiring specs when I make my dream house, and exceeding the requirements. FatherSir trained me well by example. I shan't wind up with the extension cord for the computers on the same circuit as the microwave, though he did an excellent job of isolating the well, and the washer/dryer.
