trick or treat?
I went for the first time last night. I went with Votania and Nephew and Alan. Alan did the driving; Sis and Nephew and I went up to the doors and knocked and rang the bells. We had fun.
I'm from Alaska, and we didn't have much in the way of neighborhood when I was the right size, and then my elementary school put together a carnival every Halloween weekend, and we went to that instead. My mom thought it was safer. Then when I was in high school, my friend River always threw these most fantastic parties. It was nice.
I never got to go trick-or-treating when I was a little fayoumis. It was a new thing for me. I got a small pile of candy, and it's a lot more fun, and a lot more variety, than going out and buying a couple bucks' worth on your own.
