That thing, with the people
Have you ever thought about characters from a thing (movie, show, book, whatever) and then mentally substituted another person of the same name as one of the characters from somewhere else?
And then had a brain-breaky?
Also good is when you substitute another role of the same actor's.
Will, from Will & Grace, would probably have a rough time of it in PotC.

Speaking of substitutes, every time I see that movie shortened that way I read it as "Protection of the Cabbage" and have to go back and correct myself.
Makes for some odd reading.

I know the Sith Academy already had a good start, putting Ewan McGregor's role from Trainspotting into Star Wars.

Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose a future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got the Force?
More amusing would be putting Mark Renton (McGregor's role in Trainspotting) into Moulin Rouge.
