Dreams.
Many weird dreams. I ran into some recently ex-CTYers, and told them about cake artwork transfer things. And there was this CTY-like place, and an IEEE 20-cent coin, and something about gods, a replica goblet, the ancient sources of water, and a boat. And Patrick Stewart and wine. And the gods were some of the CTYers. And some of the grownups.

It was wrapped in copper wire for the rest of the ring, this three-pointed thing, with the copper forming the underside of the band of the ring, and it was only 75 cents. So I was buying it when I noticed what was going on on the boat. (Getting out the coins was when I found the IEEE coin.) So I went over to the boat, which was to my leftish and forward, and there was someone interviewing Patrick Stewart about this goblet, infomercial style.
He was the one who was to be promoting it, and he said that actually, it really ordinarily wouldn't have been his style, too little contrast, but the gems really added something to the plain color of it, and were subtle in that there was so little contrast. It was a modern replica-sort-of-thing, updated from the way the ancient one actually looked, but along the same lines; updated for modern practical use. Sort of like a letter opener made as a replica of an ancient sword. The goblet had some sort of subtle white wine in it.
Then I spotted the large pot in the corner. There were three of them, all slightly different from each other, and one had a lid, one was empty, and one was full of water. They were in recognizably the same style as the goblet, only less modernly practical and more battered-looking. I spouted my realization that these were, in fact, the real McCoy, the real holy artifacts that the goblet had been made after, and then it transpired that no small fraction of the kids and adults around me were in fact the deities associated with same objects, and they drew apart from us and it began to feel very potential-full in the air --
-- and that is where my memory of the dream breaks off.
