Math frustrations

Little Fayoumis passed his fast math tens today, which means he got elevens for practice. This did not make him happy.

We figured out that it was a two-part problem: that he was frustrated about it being easy with the tens, and then hard with the elevens, and also that he thought he needed a celebration for the tens.

Celebration: piece of cake with candle in, and a scoop of ice cream, and much yay-ing.

There's not much we can do for the frustration but practice, but that we're working on.
