Why not. If it's really personal it goes into my personal journal, a cheap chinese notebook that is portable. I write in it with a fountain pen with blue-black ink preferably.
I LJ because it gives a new outlet to express myself. I don't have to get dressed or put on make up or pay for food after the main event. I've meet people in country I may never see in my lifetime but will get a feel for through their writings.
I used to Live Action Role Play and run one too. It filled a ten year span where I meet some interesting or annoying people. The LARP is creeping back but I will hold for a few more months to see if it's just February blahs.
I try to write about my daily events. I try to maintain the privacy of others because many are minors or in public institutions. It's a learning process.
I see a lot of people are more open about their lives. Too open compared to me. But that's who they are and this is who I am. I like a certain amount of reserve in my life. It keeps me sane. And maybe when I am comfortable enough I can share more of myself.
