I knew it would happen. It made sense. It was the decision I would have made had I been on charge, but WHY????? as for their friendship, I never quite bought it. We knew very clearly how Boromir felt about the situation and Aragorn, but not the other way around. A shame, really, since I don't care for hobbit or interspecies slash. (though Legolas looks interesting ...)
Now I know I'll be the only weirdo who'll exit the cinema in tears. At least I know I have to take plenty of kleenex with me, and that I can't use lots of make-up. In The Two Towers ?owyn gets her heart broken so I'll cry again, and in Return of the King, when Denethor goes mad and tries to kill Faramir I'll cry once again ... I'm oficially the only loser that cries with LoTR.
They killed Wellard and Archie from the Hornblower movies and they'll kill Lt. Bush. They killed Sturm from the Dragonlance books. They killed Boromir. What is it with me? Why do They Kill My Favourite Characters?
*sobs*
