There are three kinds of orgasms for women.

There are three kinds of orgasms for women.

The most common kind is clitoral. The second most common kind is from stimulation of the G-spot. Wouldn't you know that I experience and enjoy most the rarest, the cervical or uterine orgasm?

This is why length is such an issue for me. If I were going for the G-spot primarily, or the clitoris primarily, I would not be concerned with length. But unless there is the length to properly hit my cervical area, I don't enjoy myself to the fullest. Clitoral orgasms leave me with toes curled, but ultimately unsatisfied. G-spot orgasms I have yet to attain other than by myself (with perhaps one or two exceptions, where said exception was shaped just right to hit that sweet spot, and went at just the right speed...), and they're the most physically difficult. Clitoral orgasms just don't happen when I'm alone.

*sigh*

Figures I'd be one of the weird ones.

Heheheheheheh, you're not the only one!!!!!!!!

I actually get all three kinds.

I remember reading a book about reproduction (for a school report) that had graphs of the male orgasmic response, and the female orgasmic response. There was only one male pattern, but at least three female patterns. I don't remember them being connected to particular parts, but it does make a bit of sense.

I used to only get clitoral ones, until I met Chris. He stimulated the right spots in my vagina until I *developed* G spots (seriously, the tissue used to be smooth, and now it's got those ridges they tell you to look for - I personally think that's why some women can't find their G spot, because they require stimulation to develop in the first place!)

But I can pretty much guarantee I'll NEVER have a cervical orgasm. Because it hurts like a MF'er if my cervix is hit during intercourse. Here's the biggest reason I am NOT a size queen: size HURTS ME. No idea why - I've been this way since I started having sex, and having lots of kids didn't change it - but bumping the cervix during intercourse hurts really bad. *shrug*

Right now (and since the beginning) I've only been able to have clitoral orgasms. [livejournal.com profile] iroshi may be on to something with the G-spot though, because now with Scott I feel things a lot more than I ever have. I still don't orgasm that way, but perhaps eventually it will happy. Besides, I'm always willing to practice. *wink*

As far as hitting the cervix is concerned, ouch. I just can't handle it. I'm a rather small person in stature, and it doesn't take much for Scott to hit it but it has me pushing him away because it hurts so bad.

Intersting theory. I know I've just started to notice any ridginess inside, and that's in the typical "How to find your G-spot" locale. It wasn't there a few years ago.

Clinical tests would be hard though, wouldn't they? Especially since the tissue is supposedly only swollen when aroused. So the subject would need to be relaxed enough to be fully aroused both early on in their active sex life when it's 'not present' and then continually throughout to monitor 'growth.'

Good thinking. I think my brain is warped. I just finished watching "One Hour Photo" and my head hurts.

phew. I wasn't sure that those ridges were normal, but they're in the right place and it feels good. Thought that there was something wrong with me.

weird, but good.
