marxdarx onto Orkut. Am madly scheming abiut what I'll do once I do get a Gmail account.
I am going to make the effort to keep my personal and my professional lives separate, or somewhat so. I suppose my current primary Yahoo account is neither milk nor meat, so I can always give that to people I am meeting for the first time in neither work nor truly personal context.
Is it appropriate to include a link to one's personal web identity on the webspace where one has a professional profile?

Thinking about it, I'd probably set up my azurelunatic webpage, my Miss Joan L. Pipsqueak webpage, and then my geocities webpage that I get with my yahoo ID (silenceshadow). I'd direct people who know me as Miss Joan L. Pipsqueak looking for me personally to a "personal" page on the geocities silenceshadow page, and people looking for me professionally who know me as the Lunatic to a "professional" page on the geocities silenceshadow page -- without links back to either of the pages. Heh.
