Actually, everything I've seen and heard - including her general attitudes - suggests that she's a rank amateur who got lucky and hit the big time... and has no idea how a professional author should act.

I still find it amusing that her demands for insanely high privacy fences on her (still being converted - we've walked past that way a few times recently) house were denied, on the basis that if she's that paranoid she can always write behind closed curtains.
