Ahh, life: writing group, stuff

Signs it's going to be a great day for writing: discovering that the document you started last week has fleshed itself out to 25 pages so far.

Signs it's going to be a bad day for discussing the magicgeeking document: when three out of the five people at the table have trouble processing the word "pagan". Signs it's going to be a very bad day for discussing it in any sort of detail: when some of them are "carefully accepting" of the entire concept, if shocked by it.

Needless to say, I didn't get very much of anywhere in discussing the thing, and then wound up turning back to the computer. At a few points, I was very ready to walk out, but that would not have been fair to [livejournal.com profile] witchofrock.

Things got better with the writing exercise. [livejournal.com profile] witchofrock had us paint a naked portrait of a character. I picked Dave from [livejournal.com profile] ectogenesis, and they wound up at CTY. I hadn't realized that Dave and Jeff were roommates that session. Evidently they were. I got some nice foreshadowing for the GI Joe Incident, too. It was a nice PG-13 rated nude scene, for bare butt, nonsexual context. Subtext! Subtext! No females all in this scene.

Slash, anyone?

Dinner was off, as the sole other regular person there had to go pick up people from work and all that. Came home on the bus. Discovered that there was an e-mail in my inbox -- I1 in G/Unk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, ultimately, happiness. Here comes my blood sugar again, hooray. Maybe I'll be human within the hour.
