I wonder how much Ro's organization needs a perky, cheerful person who does not mind dealing with people, who is capable of being very efficient and organized with Other People's Stuff.

Um blink? I think you'd fit fabulously IN MY OFFICE and would love to hire you as the receptionist they're vaguely planning on hiring...but I work for a BIG BIG BIG place - University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center - and to be honest, they've been receiving so many applications that they've been doing group interviews since about a month before I got here. On the one hand, several of the people we've hired this past year had never worked at UT before, but on the other hand, they're less likely to be able to justify hiring outside the system for a receptionist.

Hey, don't let me discourage you from submitting an application here! There's lots and lots of jobs available, and it'd be cool to have you here in Dallas even if you weren't actually IN my office. :D texasmeercat and I have lunch together semi-regularly; we'd do it more often if we had the money to eat out more, or if she weren't so waaaaaaaay busy right now. And it would *definitely* be neat to have you in town.
