Morning things, and complete elemental set.

Woke up happily. Went out to go shopping. Came back with necessary things including my very own cast-iron skillet. (The frying pan situation had been getting dire.)

Hooray! Now I have a complete functional set of elemental weaponry -- sword, bonky flashlight, cast-iron frying pan, and of course my pentacle. (It works admirably as a shield, although it sometimes gets a little too prematurely defensive by looking at people.)

I need to take up weight-lifting again so that I can wield the fryingpan with consummate ease rather than mere brute force.

Only you would use a frying pan. ^_^

Oh, c'mon. Lotsa people use frying pans. (As weapons, I mean.)

I've even heard a "friend of a friend" story about someone who objected to his new wife's existing frying pan because it wasn't balanced right for throwing. And they went out together and shopped for one that met his criteria (heavy enough to keep him happy, light enough for her to wield it, *and* properly balanced for use both as a bludgeon and as a missile).

Any culinary person will tell you that it's not a good frying pan unless you can pick someone up and beat them over the head to death with it... and have the pan take no damage.
Don't get any ideas on testing it.
