Not typing. When I'm speaking, I spell with my fingers. Manual alphabet. Weird little habit. I think I picked it up from my way of using my fingers to remind me of what I was looking for in a row of books. I scan, scattershot, over the area, and might miss an unfamiliar spine. outofambit is always right by Dave Duncan, whoever that is. My fingers do D, when I'm skimming through the Cs, and then U, as I'm looking over the Ds, then A as I'm looking at the DUs, and by then I've found her. If she's there.
And then in the guitar class, I was playing and signing on the Day of Silence.
