Shamash does not eat fish heads. Votania bought a fish for dinner, and it came with head and tail. She cut off head and tail for cat. Cat made mrowing sounds, but sniffed the fishhead and walked away.

Nephew's new phrase: "Cut it out, you duck!" Bugs & Daffy, we think. He's racing around and saying that to Shamash, who is neither a duck nor jdllama's cat Duck.

Update: he has dragged the fish head and tail out of the bowl and left them on the carpet, and is now eating the tail. I suppose he'll get to the head next.
