Sex dice, copy/paste.

Sex dice: instead of normal numbers or spots, these dice (6 siders, generally...) have positions or body parts on them, for those who like varying their sex lives unpredictably.

[livejournal.com profile] iroshi: Hmm. That sounds like it could get tedious, complicated, and frustrating. I prefer imagination to random dice rolls, I think.

I personally think of them as being for those people who have little to no sexual imagination themselves, but who are open to exploration, just a little; or for people who have gotten their sex lives stuck in a rut, in a ritualized format like Ekaterin and Tien, and want to break out of that. It all went according to plan and practice after that.... She would have preferred an honest silence.

"Hmm, instead of the usual, let's try starting with ... hmm... What in the name of !%&# am I supposed to do with my foot and your arm? Can I re-roll that?"

Hm, I can see the gaming possibilities to that... a chaotic good elf cleric and a lawful evil human mage walk into an inn...

But you know that Tien would have freaked out at any hint that they were in a rut and needed to change. It would have challenged his entire self-image and you know how he got when that happened.

On the other hand, I could see Miles pulling out a set just to see Ekaterin giggle as he spun her some story about using them to get out of some predicament. Or Kareen and Mark using them in their ongoing exploration of each other.

Ah, Bel! One of my favorite parts of Diplomatic Immunity is Miles wistfully regretting that he'd never gone for it with Bel back when they were young and beautiful. I regret it too!

I love LMB -- she's so cheerfully and wholesomely perverse. She doesn't whack you over the head with it but love is love and you appreciate it where you find it, regardless of the package it comes in. There's some nice stuff in The Curse of Chalion, too.
