Being on the other side of town was actually not a regular feature of Darkside's weekend, just a random one-off movie night with a friend. He's not sure where his dad acquired a leg to stand on in the implication that I should know what he was up to tonight, as he'd told his dad several times about said movie night and his dad kept forgetting it.

Darkside was amused at the imagined spectacle of me vs. his dad.
"So I mumbled something incoherent about hot chocolate, turned bright pink, and ran away."
"Where's the video camera when you need it?"

He's thinking maybe next weekend for getting together. He doesn't know how his schedule at work is. (He did mention his hours to me, though; so now I know about that. His commute must be pretty gnarly.)

He's cleaning house today. I should be doing the same, but ooog I don't wanna move. Given how I've been running around like an insane thing lately, perhaps I should just stay in bed reading for a while. Darkside suggested that I take a nap, but I just woke up from one.
