When V told Adam that he should have sex with me? It was a test of his loyalty to her. He evidently failed it. She told him she was uncomfortable with his having sex with me.

Now she says he should date me.

I feel it only reasonable to suspect that if he and I date, and are still dating by the time she returns in three months and a bit, that she would tell him that she flatly refuses to have sex with him while he's dating another woman.

...I wish I could say I were paranoid.

He's pretty torn up about this.

I didn't even pull that in high school. I may have done a lot of damn dumb relationship things, but I never did that. No one who remained friends with me for long at all did that.

He's learning that though I care less and less for her, I'm still respecting that seeing her is within his rights.
