Yep, I was posting them from my phone all along, and then got home to find that most of them hadn't made it through. And the trick with setting things to a date in the past without getting LJ screaming that OMG you posted after this and without using date out of order (formerly backdate) is to post them now with no modification to the time, and then redate them. This way it shows up on friends-pages.
