Just so you'll know...

I find it very disturbing when the machine in my room claims that a program called "Kernel32" has caused an error and must be shut down. This, when tapping the key that would give me the menu that would give me the option to shut down and restart.

Ctrl+alt+Del, repeated, fixed the immediate situation.

i always thought kernel32 errors meant that you have too much stuff on your computer, or you're trying to run too many things at once.. i used to get those errors on my old computer.

kernel32 errors are a VERY good sign that you need to wipe and reload your machine. Especialy when you get them often....once in awhile is no biggy, reboot and alls well. If it happens more than once a day then it's time to save off your data and reload it.

Not really.....I routinely run dozen's of process's concurrently(I'm a geek, and a systems admin by trade). Generaly what those are is a good sign that it's time for a wipe and reload of your OS. Things tend to get corrupted in MSland and things go gollywog.
