I started seeing the humor in it while it was still happening.

...Votania thought it was pretty sneaky of me, to arrange that I should be able to show off my near-naked body to her when she had no reason to smack me down for it. We laughed over that for weeks ... or would have, had not other stuff gotten in the way.

Living with straight, homophobic roommates is sometimes a bit of a trial.
