Yayyyy! (Bank)
Called bank when I thought they should be open (15 minutes after stated time). Found that phone card autohangsup after X number of rings. Also found out that I have the number to said bank memorized.
Called again; answered on first ring. Transferred to voicemail of chick who deals with such things. Left full name, account number, phone number, and problem.

marxdarx took a message while I was out; they said they fixed it. ["It" being that my old debit card had expired, my new one had yet to be activated, but was sitting under a pile of STUFF until after the 30-day "call this 800#" period.] Checked with ATM. ATM now knows my name. As I didn't request a reissued PIN, their randomly assigned and duly memorized one is still valid.
Yay. Grocery shopping, plus taking care of assorted personal care things (dentist, eye doctor, female health, general checkup) are now possible. Yay parents!!
