I am very happy for you and all other of your people in California. And I would like to add this: I am a heterosexual woman, and married (with a man) for almost 18 years now. But we do not have children, and we never planned for children, and the discussions on how marriage is only for one man and one woman for the purpose of procreation makes me feel my marriage is endangered. But the idea that two men or two women or whatever other combination might want to be married makes me feel happy in some undefined way, just the same way that the idea that a specific man and a specific woman want to be married. In both the Netherlands and Belgium marriage is legal between two consenting adults, as long as they are not close blood relations.
