Hey, maybe an alternative for drinking water from a cup near Tigereye would be buying one of those rehydration vests. You know the ones that hikers wear to keep cool and hydrated. (Even better, think Dune) ;) --heheh..just teasing!

As I've mentioned before, I've had that happen to me before, though not on a laptop. Your type of spill is definately more tragic. At least all I had to do was buy a new keyboard ($20)!

I'm glad you lucked out on that. (WHEW!)

eh, I don't know any of the brand names. I'm not a hiker. Though I'd much rather hike in the woods than walk around in the city all the time (or the bus).
