How do you get beads to stay unless you put them on single strands while you're braiding them? I've *always* wondered how people put beads on the outside of a braid and get them to stay.

String them on, then either put a rubber band or hair elastic wider than the inside of the beads at the bottom, or double up the bottom of the strand of hair so the last bead is in the loop, then wrap the elastic around the doubled over bits of hair.
