And wouldn't you know.
After I got finished filking, and got it printed out to share with everyone in general, and Dawn and Darkside in specific? The network went down again, including print servers... everything.
Shared the filk with the head of the IT department, who liked it. Go me! He liked it enough to grab a copy, probably to post in the IT department. Darkside giggled.
Well, actually, what Darkside did was started singing something softly about the network being down, to the exact same tune. I could tell he was hacking out words in his head. "Already wrote it," I said smugly, and passed him the sheet. He read it and laughed.
Later, when Shrimpy was bothering Dawn, I came up with songsheet in hand. She and I started singing. Shrimpy scattered. Darkside laughed.
