I actually really like LAS (I've been through most of the major airports in the US, Traveling While Disabled) -- the only thing that knocks off points for me is the badly-placed bathrooms. (Although I can see where noise-sensitive people would be bothered.) They're staffed by supremely professional people, their TSA crew is second only to BWI (my home airport, and the only airport where I've only ever had a single TSA disaster -- an agent being incredibly rude and mansplainy at me about opting out of the pornoscanners for health reasons due to doctors orders -- instead of the 50% or so rate at other airports) in terms of disability Clue, decent seating and gates that are arranged such that if your gate seating is full you can use another gate's without potentially missing calls, good electrical outlet coverage, a very good gate assignment algorithm that means you are very rarely doing the Cross-Airport Death Run if your incoming flight is a little delayed (let us not talk about CLT or PHX's gate assignment algorithm, omg), good cleanliness factor (again, let us not talk about how CLT always smells slightly of urine), and excellent ground transportation.
Mind you, even if you go to Las Vegas to gamble, don't touch the slots or video poker machines in the airport. The slots are set at the state mandated lowest rate of return possible and the video poker machines are generally 7/5 Jacks or Better. *shudder*
