If you are caught in a dire situation wherein you only have enough time to save one person out of a group, and the Author is a member of that group, you must save the Author.

This means that if you use software with that license written by one person, you can't use software with that license written by anyone else without imposing severe restrictions on your meatspace socializing (including which professional events or conferences you attend). I would be very wary of using any software with a license including that clause.
