Birthday.

Well, best friend is coming over at two, as we don't have a car, and he does. His friends are unreachable. Some of his old friends are taking him out to dinner, but they're not awake or not at home, and he's tried calling a couple times, so he's coming to retrieve us first in any case.

So I have to get myself a shower before two, and also some laundry done, and packages wrapped, and all those other good things.

I like talking on the phone with him. His voice is so warm. I like speaking with him in person better, though.

My belated birthday-day has yet to happen. I have the suspicion that I won't even see it coming if it comes at all. I got a package from my parents a couple days after my birthday, and hugs from all my friends, and we had a bit of a party two days before my birthday...

...there's no better birthday gift than to be loved.

And of course I'm in love with him. It's painfully obvious to the entire world. Even he's noticed it. Yet he still manages to be friends with me...
